These paintings explore repetition of mark making, process and automated action, using a combination of acrylic paints and materials used in my sculptures such as fibreglass, jesmonite, plaster and tape to spontaneously produce texture . They also use organic materials found in nature such as leaves, and seeds. The materials are placed either as a repeated process or are stuck randomly on the canvas before the paint is applied, when blind folded.
